Frequently asked questions
We are a group of Professional doctors and excellent trained staff with years of experience in the Medical Aesthetic market.
Throughout the years we have worked with many other aesthetic Medical lasers such as Candella and DEKA’S motus AX, thus understanding inside out the laser industry and the needs of our customers.
Now, In order to stay relevant and provide the best results and customer satisfaction we invested and UPGRADED to the latest and most modern technology in Medical aesthetics – DEKA’S Alexandrite laser AGAIN.
The AGAIN LASER uses THE MOVEO TECHNOLOGY that allows repetitive passes with low power pulses at very high frequency (5 Hz). The temperature required to destroy the hair follicle is achieved gradually and not instantly like the classic Alexandrite lasers, which is why it makes them so painful.
Given the effectiveness of the Alexandrite wavelength in destroying the follicle, patients can see the desired results in fewer sessions. Most Hair Removal Lasers work at a distance from the skin. This means that part of the energy is reflected by the outer layers of the skin and never reaches the follicle.
The moveo head with the innovative sapphire cooling system allows the Laser to come into direct contact with the skin. The result is twice the energy absorption without burning sensation.
The DEKA AGAIN Laser uses two different wavelengths, 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG. These wavelengths have different properties and are effective for treating different types of hair and skin.
- 755nm Alexandrite: Effective for treating fine and fair hair, as well as coarse and dark hair
- 1064nm Nd:YAG: Effective for treating all hair colors, including coarse and dark hair.Penetrates more deeply into the skin than Alexandrite, making it more effective for treating deep-seated hair follicles
Before the first session we will give you detailed instructions on what to do and what to avoid. Following these instructions will increase the effectiveness of the procedure and reduce the risk of side effects.
Here are some things to do before your laser hair removal session.Avoid sunbathing for a few days before the treatment. Laser hair removal should not be done on heavily tanned skin.Avoid skin irritation.Avoid hair removal with other methods, such as halawa or wax, for 1-1.5 months.
The hairs should be slightly visible.Epilation should not be performed if you suffer from photosensitivity, have a wound or an inflammation such as cold sores or bacterial skin infections.
If after the session you feel that the area is irritated, don’t worry. In some cases, a burning sensation can be observed, such as when you are exposed to the sun for a long time. After 2 hours or the next day, any irritation will subside.
Use a mild soap and cream that will help you feel comfortable after the treatment.Avoid scrubbing the area, hot tub, sauna and pool chlorine for 2 days.Minimize sun exposure and wear sunscreen when going outside.
There is no recovery time after treatment. As important as it is to apply sunscreen before laser hair removal, it is just as important after the treatment.
This will help prevent further irritation. You may expect to see a reduction in the amount of hair in the epilation area immediately after the procedure. But, this is not going to happen, because not all hair follicles respond to lasers in the same way.
Most patients lose 10% – 25% of their hair after the first session. Usually, results are clearly visible after 6 sessions.
If you have unwanted hair on your face, chest, legs, back, or any other part of your body, you’ve probably tried waxing, halawa, or other methods to get rid of it.
While these treatments work temporarily, they can be repetitive, time-consuming, and painful. Laser hair removal allows you to get rid of unwanted hair without the pain and discomfort that often accompanies other treatments.
Many patients report that they feel a pinch or as if they were lightly hit with a rubber band. Of course, the area being lasered and your personal pain tolerance will dictate the level of discomfort associated with laser hair removal.
The cost of Alexandrite laser hair removal is affected by several factors, including body area, hair density, number of application sites, and skin color.
Prices may vary depending on your needs. For example, our packages can include multiple treatment areas with sessions at a reduced price compared to individual prices.
You can book a free consultation with us in order for us to let you know according to your individual hair type, and skin colour how many treatments you will need and what will be the prices.
Anyone can have laser hair removal, regardless of skin color or hair type. However, people with light skin and dark hair tend to have shorter and better results than people with light hair or darker skin tone.
But, there is also a special laser for dark skin the one we provide in our clinic (ND:YAG). Any man or woman can do the treatments as long as there is no inflammation or irritation of the skin. See all cases in which you cannot do laser hair removal.
