Our treatments are for all ages, because every stage of life has different needs and goals:

Our aim is to offer solutions that respect each person's age and stage of life, while keeping the skin natural and healthy.

Before your first session we give you detailed instructions; following them makes the treatment more effective and lowers the risk of side effects. The essentials:

• Shave the area 24 hours before. Between sessions, shaving only: no waxing, sugaring (halawa), tweezing or depilatory creams.
• No sunbathing or sunbeds for 48 hours before. If you are tanned, tell us: we adjust the settings or move the session.
• On the day, no creams, deodorant or sunscreen on the area.
• We do not treat skin with photosensitivity, a wound or inflammation in the area, such as an active cold sore or a bacterial skin infection.

Before every session, your laser practitioner takes a short history (medication, sun exposure, pregnancy, skin conditions).

Mild redness or a feeling of warmth in the area is normal and usually settles within a few hours or by the next day. To stay comfortable:

• Apply a moisturiser or aloe vera, and wash with a mild soap.
• For 24 hours, avoid the gym, sauna, hot tubs, chlorinated pools and very hot baths, rubbing the area and products that contain alcohol.
• No sunbathing for 48 hours after. Throughout your course of treatment, apply a high-protection sunscreen to the area every day.

There is no recovery time: you can go straight back to your day.

• Hair reduction is not immediate: the treated hairs shed 2–3 weeks after the session.
• In the first sessions the reduction is gradual and can look patchy. This is normal, because not every hair follicle responds in the same way at every session.
• The result builds over around 6–8 sessions, usually every 4–6 weeks depending on the area, followed by maintenance every 6–12 months.
• The goal is a permanent reduction in hair growth.

Sunscreen matters as much after treatment as before: it protects the skin from irritation.

If you have tried shaving, waxing or sugaring (halawa), you know these methods are temporary, repetitive and often painful.

With the Moveo technique, laser hair removal is virtually painless for most people; many of our clients fall asleep during treatment. In clinical studies, pain was significantly lower than with conventional laser, and most people describe only a warm sensation.

Some feel a light snap, like a rubber band, especially on more sensitive areas. It always depends on the area being treated and on your own tolerance.
